A highly regarded business advisor, Bill has been exclusively coaching lawyers, consulting with law firms, and presenting practice development seminars for eight years.
Bill holds a Master’s degree from Columbia University in Communications and Technology. Prior to launching his consulting firm, Bill was a widely respected educator specializing in media studies. He is the author of the nation’s top-selling textbook on media literacy, Understanding Mass Media, 5th Edition.
Bill founded and served as principal of Connecticut’s first public charter school, The Odyssey Community School. He was also the founding technology coach at The Learning Corridor in Hartford. He continues to apply his mentoring skills in advanced technology using secure remote-access tools such as GoToAssist, which allows him to teach his clients in real time over the Internet how to use their software more effectively.
A long-time C-SPAN afficianado, Bill maintains a strong interest in public policy and stays abreast of leading-edge thought in organizational development, business, marketing, technology, and leadership. He devours countless books, articles, blogs, and webinars on every aspect of law practice development.
A member of the ABA Law Practice Management and Solo/Small Firm sections, Bill is also a Board member of the Connecticut chapter of the National Speaker’s Association.
In addition to his professional activities, Bill is an accomplished guitarist and vocalist and enjoys performing a wide range of material from Cole Porter to John Lennon.
